‘Bass Bahaar’ by Mojo, is a genre-defying concept album, which takes cult classic Bollywood tracks from the 90’s and re-imagines them as contemporary ‘electronic’ tracks that have a sound unlike most dance music out there right now.
This album is in no way a re-mix album but a bold re-work of tunes that a lot of us hold close to our hearts.
Instead of simply putting the tracks through a dance floor template, Mojo has picked out the most recognizable parts, identified the mood, the sentiment of the original song and fused it with a bass heavy style of music, that can only be described as punchy, driven, infectious and danceable.
This sound is a unique blend between Dub, Moombahton and House and with the Bollywood fusion elements, it’s an ear worm on the dance floors!

MojoJojo is the alter ego of Delhi/Dubai based musician and producer, Akshay Johar.
He started playing the piano at the age of 10 but switched to the electric bass and hasn’t looked back since.
